What is Neurorubine Forte Lactab?
Neurorubine Forte is a high-dose B vitamin supplement containing Vitamin B1 (Thiamine nitrate), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride), and Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin). It is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of neuritic pain, neuralgia, and toxic damage to nerve tissue.
Active Ingredients
- Thiamine nitrate (Vitamin B1): 200 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6): 50 mg
- Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12): 100 µg
The tablet also contains other excipients, including Colour E127 (erythrosine).
Neurorubine Forte Indications
Neurorubine Forte is recommended as an adjuvant treatment for:
- Neuritic pain — including acute or chronic neuritis and polyneuritis
- Neuralgia — sharp and shooting pain along the nerves
- Toxic damage to nerve tissue, such as that caused by alcoholism, diabetic polyneuropathy, and drug intoxication
Directions for Use
The recommended dose for adults is 1–2 film-coated tablets daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Neurorubine Forte should not be administered to paediatric patients, as its use in children has not been established.
Precautions
Before using Neurorubine Forte, inform your doctor or pharmacist about all current medications (including over-the-counter products and herbal supplements), any allergies, and pre-existing conditions including folic acid deficiency, iron deficiency, kidney disease, liver disease, or sinus congestion. Also inform them about current health conditions such as pregnancy, planned surgery, or breastfeeding.

- Angioneurotic oedema (rare cases)
- Allergic reactions (rare cases)
- Endocrine disorders
- Nervous system disorders such as anxiety in sensitive patients
- Interference with levodopa therapy for Parkinson’s disease (unless a decarboxylase inhibitor is given)
- Rare cases of reversible peripheral sensory neuropathy with high doses over a long period
- Cardiac disorders — individual cases of tachycardia and collapse in sensitive patients
- Gastrointestinal disorders — nausea and gastrointestinal bleeding in sensitive patients
- Hepatobiliary disorders — increase in SGOT levels with high doses
- Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders — sweating, weakness, and globus symptoms
