What is Kelotan Gel? Topical Silicone Gel for Scar Management
Kelotan Gel is a topical silicone gel used to control and manage both old and new scars resulting from surgical procedures, injuries, and burns. It is used in the treatment and prevention of extensive and unusual scars, addressing associated symptoms such as redness, itching, and discomfort.
Active Ingredients
Kelotan Gel contains decamethyl cyclopentasiloxane, isopropyl myristate, and silicone elastomer gel. These ingredients work together to soften and smooth embossed scars, reduce redness, and relieve itching and discomfort.
How Kelotan Gel Works
Upon application, Kelotan Gel quickly dries to create a flexible, breathable, waterproof layer over the affected area. This invisible silicone layer binds to the stratum corneum, forming a protective barrier against chemical, biological, and microbial effects on the scar. It creates an optimal environment for scar treatment, supporting improved aesthetic results.
How to Use Kelotan Gel
For external use only. Apply a thin layer of gel to cleansed and dry skin on the affected area twice a day. Allow the gel to dry completely — usually within 4–5 minutes. If the area has not dried within this time, you may have applied more gel than necessary; gently remove the excess and allow it to dry.
For optimal results, continue treatment with Kelotan Gel for 60–90 days. For larger or older scars, the treatment period may need to be extended. To prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids, begin applying Kelotan Gel as soon as the wound has healed or sutures have been removed.
Precautions
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third-degree burns, and open wounds. Individuals with dermatological conditions that impair the integrity of the skin should refrain from using this product. Before using Kelotan Gel, it is advisable to consult your doctor for personalised guidance.

Store in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Pack: 15 g gel.
