Fenistil Gel contains the active substance dimethindene maleate, an antihistamine that rapidly reduces itching and relieves skin allergies. Each gram of gel contains 1 mg of dimethindene maleate. Because the gel is well absorbed into the skin, it relieves itching and skin irritation within a few minutes of application. Fenistil Gel also has a local anaesthetic effect.
