Daleron Cold 3 refers to combined drugs that have analgesic and antipyretic effects. In addition, the drug has anti-edematous, antitussive effect and reduces the manifestation of cold symptoms.
Indications of the Daleron cold 3
Daleron Cold 3 is indicated for a cold or flu. It is prescribed to reduce the main symptoms of the disease – sore throat, muscle pain, headache, fever, cough, and cold.
Produced in the form of coated tablets.
The composition includes paracetamol, which has antipyretic and analgesic effect. Paracetamol belongs to non-narcotic analgesics, has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory effect. Paracetamol is not conducive to delaying salt and water in the body, and also does not irritate the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract.
In addition, the preparation contains anti-edematous, antitussive components, which in combination reduce the acute manifestations of cold and flu.
The pseudoephedrine, which is part of Daleron Kold 3, irritates the receptors in the smooth muscles of the bronchi, as well as in the heart. The substance reduces the swelling of the respiratory tract, which helps improve breathing.
Another substance that is part of the drug is dextromethorphan, which helps to reduce the irritation of the throat with colds and get rid of dry cough.
Pharmacological properties of Daleron kold 3 have not been studied.
Use of the Daleron Cold during pregnancy
Safety of the use of Daleron kold 3 in pregnant women was not established, in connection with which, the drug is not prescribed during pregnancy.
Do not prescribe Daleron Kold 3 to individuals with an increased susceptibility to certain components of the drug, renal or hepatic dysfunction, high blood pressure, or ischemic heart disease. Avoid prescribing the medication to children under 12 years of age.
Side effects of the Daleron Cold
Daleron Cold extremely rarely provokes adverse reactions when taken at recommended doses. After reception, irritability, nausea, dryness may occur, in rare cases, an increase in blood pressure is possible.
Dosing and administration
Prescribe Daleron Cold 3 at a dosage of 2 tablets every 4-6 hours, with a maximum daily intake of 8 tablets. Determine the duration of treatment on an individual basis, considering the severity of the disease and the patient’s condition.
Daleron kold 3 with dysfunction of the liver or kidney is appointed with caution. In case of an overdose of paracetamol, nausea, vomiting, and liver damage are observed.
Pseudoephedrine in high doses leads to overexcitation, increased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat.
Dextromethorphan causes dizziness, impaired coordination of movements, drowsiness, problems with hearing and vision.
Interactions with other drugs
Do not simultaneously take or use Daleron Cold 3 within 14 days after therapy with MAO inhibitors. Combining these drugs increases the likelihood of a hypertensive crisis, causes headaches, heart rhythm disturbances, and fever.
Furthermore, avoid concomitant use of Daleron Cold 3 with paracetamol (or drugs containing paracetamol), rifampicin, fluoxetine (antidepressant), methyldopa, haloperidol, preparations against Parkinsonism or epilepsy, dihydroergotamine, barbiturates, or chloramphenicol.
If you are taking metoclopramide, warfarin, colestyramine, or domperidone along with Daleron Cold 3, only take them as directed by a specialist.
Keep Daleron Cold 3 in a dry place and make sure not to exceed a storage temperature of 30°C. Store the medication in a location that children cannot easily access.
Daleron Cold 3 is valid for five years from the date of manufacture, subject to the conditions of storage and preservation of the package.
