What is Magne B6?

Magne B6 is a medication combining magnesium and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) to prevent and treat magnesium deficiency in adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 to 12 years.

Signs of Magnesium Deficiency

Associating some of the following symptoms may indicate a magnesium deficiency:

  • Nervousness, irritability, and mild anxiety
  • Passing fatigue and minor sleep disturbances
  • Anxiety manifestations such as digestive spasms or palpitations (in subjects without cardiac conditions)
  • Muscle cramps and tingling

If symptoms persist after one month of treatment, continuing the medication may not be beneficial.

Active Ingredients per Ampoule (10 ml)

  • Magnesium lactate dihydrate: 186 mg
  • Magnesium pidolate (total elemental magnesium content per ampoule): 100 mg
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6): 10 mg

How to Take Magne B6

Always follow your doctor’s instructions. Before consumption, dilute the contents of each ampoule in half a glass of water.

  • Adults and adolescents: 3–4 ampoules per day, divided into 2–3 doses, taken with meals.
  • Children over 1 year of age (weighing over 10 kg): 1–4 ampoules per day, divided into 2–3 doses, taken with meals.

Contraindications

  • Allergy (hypersensitivity) to magnesium lactate dihydrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, or any other ingredient.
  • Severe kidney failure (severely impaired kidney function).
  • Current treatment with levodopa (a medication for Parkinson’s disease).

Precautions and Warnings

  • Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age or individuals weighing less than 10 kg.
  • Patients with moderate renal insufficiency should exercise caution to avoid elevated magnesium concentration in the blood.
  • Urinary infections should be treated before initiating magnesium treatment.
  • In cases of calcium deficiency, it is generally recommended to correct magnesium deficiency before starting calcium supplementation.
  • Prolonged high-dose use of pyridoxine (vitamin B6) may lead to sensory nerve damage — symptoms include numbness, balance disorders, tremors in the extremities, and coordination difficulties. These effects are typically reversible upon discontinuation.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist for further guidance.
